Collabor88 One Year Anniversary!

Hi there! I'm participating in the special one year anniversary round of Collabor88 this month! The Marie.Jacket is a fully rigged mesh jacket and you *must* try a demo before purchasing! There are 5 colors to choose from.  

I've included a note in the demo with some important information about the shape and sizing. The jacket is very structured and close fitting, *based* on standard sizing. There is a big chance you will need to change your shape a bit for it to fit properly.  

This version of the jacket is an exclusive for C88 and only available for this round. A different version (at full price) will be released later in the store.

New at fri.day! - July 29th, 2012

The full release of the Ballet.Tee is now available at fri.day and it comes in two versions! The solid tees come in 10 colors and the stripe tees are available in 8 colors.

I've also just sent the July Gift for the fri.day V.I.P. group! The gift includes two exclusive versions of the Ballet.Tee.

New fri.day V.I.P. group and the poll!

I first want to mention that I've started a new fri.day V.I.P. group in world, it's simply called "fri.day". It's a standard group and will require you to have an open group slot. The reason I've created this group is for regular customers who enjoy fri.day products and are truly interested in future releases. There is a one time fee of L$50 when you join but keep in mind there will be special monthly gifts :). To join, just visit fri.day and click on the group join sign in the front entrance of the store! You can also just do a group search for fri.day.

I will still send updates to the subscriber group for now (for those who don't want to/can't join), so I would recommend unsubscribing if you join the V.I.P. group. This will ensure you don't get notices twice :). 

Now for information on the poll I posted last week! The poll asked the question, "Are you currently only interested in purchasing mesh clothing?". Around 150 people answered the question and here are the results.

As you can see, the majority (61%) are still interested in purchasing system clothing as well as mesh. I was a little suprised by this result but what surprised me more was the amount of people who can't/won't wear mesh. Around 17% of the people either answered "No" or had more of an explanation for why they don't purchase it. 

I know the amount of people that took the poll is a very small number considering the Second Life population. I do however believe that these answers most likely represent my customer base and I will take them into consideration with future releases. Until there's a way for mesh clothing to fit all shapes and sizes, I will continue to create system/mixed clothing.

New at fri.day! - June 24th, 2012

I have a new mesh tank available now at fri.day! This is the full release version of the Friday.Tank (previously seen in a different version at FLF) and comes in 12 colors.

I will be posting my thoughts this week about the poll I put up last week. I've had around 150 people take the poll so far and the results have been very interesting.

Blogger Applications

Over the past year through changes in co-creators, RL illness and learning mesh, the ball was dropped on the fri.day blogger list. Many of the people that blogged for us stopped blogging or left and the applications received over time had become a mess of notecards, inactive blogs and spam. 

With that said, it's time I got a blogger list going again! If you have any interest in blogging fri.day items, please contact me (Darling Monday) via notecard in world. 

You'll most likely be blogging clothing (a mix of mesh and system), accessories (hats, jewelry, belts etc), poses and home items. I want to say upfront that there will be *no* hair unless a miracle happens and I suddenly have talent in that category.

FLF is back and I have a question for you!

Fifty Linden Friday is back (we missed you barb <3)! I have a special pre-release mesh tank (the release version will look different) available now for FLF. You'll get both colors of the Friday.Tank in standard sizing for L$50. Don't forget to try the demo!!

Now for my question! If you could take a second to answer this poll I would really appreciate it :). I know that mesh has become very popular but I'm curious to know if any of you still have an interest in system clothing. Standard sizing is the best way we have right now of fitting avatars of different sizes but it's nowhere near "one size fits all". This poll will help me with future fri.day releases.

New for Stumblebum - 6/2/12

It's time for a new round of Stumblebum at fri.day!
My first mesh (rigged) item is a simple little cami and it's available now in 4 colors (special colors for Stumblebum) at a discount of L$90 each.

Stumblebum!

Hi all :). I've got a new set of 6 poses available at a 25% discount for Stumblebum! The discount will only apply during my round, May 1st - May 14th. I'm really glad to be part of this event and fantastic group of creators. The poses are out now at fri.day. 

I want to address a question that has been asked by several customers over the last couple of weeks. Since my participation in Pose Fair 2012, I've been asked if fri.day is becoming more focused on poses. The answer to that is no. I wanted to be able to release new creations while learning mesh and I enjoy making poses. It will not be my main focus but from time to time for events and special releases you may see them.
